Roof prism
Compared to porro prism binoculars, these premium prism binoculars offer a superior optical performance with the advantage of a simpler and comfortable style.
A slimmer and more compact body is easier to be designed because in roof binoculars the optical path goes straight from the outside to your eyes.
Also, in roof prism systems the second roof prism plays a significant role due to the fact that it delivers a sharp image with no doubling or flare to your eyes. To make this possible and to process its edge precisely, highly advanced technology is required. Kenko always aims to provide its high quality roof binoculars with this technology.

Phase and fully multi coated
Coating has never been as important as in roof binoculars.
The first prism of roof binoculars has one surface that does not feature total internal reflection, resulting in some light loss. To minimize this loss and raise reflectivity, it is necessary to apply coating to the surfaces of the prism.
Prisms are also phase coated with a reflective silver coating to correct any phase difference.
To fully complete the work, a multi- coating (multilayer film coat) is applied to all of the lenses and prisms surfaces as well as to glass-to- air surfaces to reduce light.
For maximum light transmittance and brightness.

Center focus and diopter adjustment system:
The control knob these binoculars are provided with easily allows you to make diopter adjustments . It is designed to let you compensate for differences between your own two eyes so that, once you set the diopter, the two barrels stay in proper relation. From then on you can focus just by turning the central focusing knob.
The additional advantage of this system is that it also prevents your settings from being inadvertently changed.

Waterproof and shock resistant
What if these luxurious binoculars get dumped by snow or rain?
As for all Kenko waterproof binoculars, you don`t have to worry. These binoculars have been designed to prevent water to get inside the lens barrel even in the most difficult weather conditions, and the nitrogen filling inside of the body prevents fogging too.
The waterproof, durable die-cast aluminum body represents the ultimate choice for those customers who want to enjoy the highest grade of outdoor watching experience.
